The Solution:RISC Associates responded to the initial brief by;
• Conducting an initial review of all operational practices as they relate to the subject areas in the brief. Also, a review of existing policies, procedures and historic incident data.
• Conduct a fire risk assessment of the whole site which resulted in an action plan with key recommendations to bring fire safety up to the standard required.
• Compiled an up to date Health and Safety Manual with all appropriate policies, procedures arrangements and risk assessments. (d) Delivered Fire Marshall and First Aid training.
• Introduced bespoke risk management software, enabling the client/business owner) to monitor and review operational compliance remotely.
The Result:
The client is now operating in compliance with all statutory legislation. RISC Associates continue to support the client on a retained contract basis, which involves quarterly visits to provide expert advice and attend health and safety committee meetings and management review meetings.
RISC Associates are also available for ad-hoc advice and support as operational requirements dictate.
